Thanks to Weibull for sending the growler!!
Pours a very clean golden color sporting a brilliant a brilliant white head that lasts for quite awhile. Leaves a thin tight lace around the glass. Amazing retention.
Nose is very nice and soft yet there is much going on. Grassy hops lead into a citrusy aroma followed by hints of oak. Very earthy hints of pine coming through. Etheral and a bit rustic even yet showing such a delicate aroma.
Again this is a soft delicate feminine DIPA. A biscuity malt backbone with some tannins from the oak. Hop flavors aren't overly aggressive but fit the bill nicely. Again very grassy, with a piney middle slightly sticky and resiny leading into citrusy grapefruit on the finish. Finish is long and alcohol is very well hidden. So laid back and just moderate carbonation make it creamy smooth. But not sure I want it for this style or what I was expecting. Drinkability is all day however.
