Another nice IPA offering from Alpine, but I'm not 100% sold on this one. At first look and sniff, I thought Duet would be my runaway favorite. It poured beautifully, had a nice color and head, wonderful floral and citrus aromas; unfortunately though, I didn't find it exceptionally balanced, and the resiny finish lingered on my tongue for longer than I prefer.

Bottle poured into an IPA glass
A - Big golden straw color with a solid two finger head that lingers. Lots of carbonation.
S - Dankness, grapefruit, a little citrusy, not a heck of a lot of malt in the background. Very hop forward.
T - Hops! Grapefruit forward with some dankness. A touch of citrusy hops with just the right amount of bitterness. Crushable.
P - Prickly with a nice bitterness without being overdone. Active carbonation on the tongue. Dry finish.
O - Much better than Nelson imo. The taste and mouth on it are pretty spot on for a DIPA. It's quite dry without much malt presence.
