American IPA |  7.00% ABV

Availability: Rotating

Notes/Commercial Description:
A West Coast IPA that features Amarillo and Simcoe hops "in harmony," giving a light, floral aroma. Duet is nicely bitter with the perfect amount of malt concealed behind the hoppy goodness. Immensely drinkable, amazingly light on its feet.

22oz. Bomber $7 from local liquor store

Look: Crystal clear bronze with a really aggressive white head.

Smell: Woah! Huge grapefruit and citrus hops completely envelops the nose!

Taste: Citrus bomb! Huge grapefruit, orange, tangerine, lemon, and clementine notes leasd to a really nice earthy hop mellow that rounds out with a nice malt backbone. Citrus hops linger throughout and long after each sip! A bit like biting into marmalade on toast!

Mouthfeel: At first it's wet and quenching but that quickly dries out like a nice champagne. the 7% ABV is undetectable! Perfect body!

Overall: Wow. Heard great things about this one and boy did it live up. Every aspect really works together. From the citrus hop bomb to the malt balancing act to the superb dry finish that allows the hops to shine through again. In a market filled with IPA's this one is something special. Get it.

Delicious!

I’m glad to say that this, my first taste of an Alpine beer, lived up to the hype.

It pours a golden-tan with exceptional clarity. I get a great citrus aroma and some light piney notes. There’s a lively citrus flavor and a light bittering on it. I enjoyed this repeatedly when I found it on tap. An all around well done IPA that hits all the right notes.

A: Pours more of a gold color but when resting in the glass it is gold with a slight orange hue, leaves a frothy head that takes awhile to vanish, leaves some nice lacing on the glass as well

S: A perfect balance of pine, tropical fruits, grapefruit, slightly sweet malts, and a hint of bitterness, fantastic smell to this brew.

T: Up front you get a lovely greeting of pine sand grapefruit mixed, then it transitions to those lovely tropical fruits, and finishes with a perfectly balanced mix along with the perfect amount of bitterness. This beer is so well balanced and flavorful, it is absolutely outstanding!

M: Superb mouthfeel, so light crisp and refreshing, leaves your mouth a little dry which leaves you begging for more! So drinkable as well!

O: This beer is phenomenal! Get your hands on it!
