22 oz bomber poured into a Speigelau tulip
Pours a golden copper clear body with a big off-white head of medium sized bubbles with good retention and lacing.
Smell is very piney, earthy, and floral. Small amounts of citrus notes with grapefruit and lemon being predominant. Some honeysuckle. Nice aroma.
Taste is very west coast, with a piney bitterness to the hops up front, more sweet than I would have expected though, some floral and citrus notes rounding out the taste with a dry finish and bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is smooth, creamy, medium bodied, well carbonated, actually a great feel to this.
Overall, a really refreshing beer, the highlight being how easy-drinking it is. Definitely one of the smoothest IPAs I can remember. Some of the hop flavor may have fallen off since the bottling, and I'd like to try this fresh one day, but still highly enjoyed and definitely recommended.

I’m glad to say that this, my first taste of an Alpine beer, lived up to the hype.
It pours a golden-tan with exceptional clarity. I get a great citrus aroma and some light piney notes. There’s a lively citrus flavor and a light bittering on it. I enjoyed this repeatedly when I found it on tap. An all around well done IPA that hits all the right notes.

A: Pours more of a gold color but when resting in the glass it is gold with a slight orange hue, leaves a frothy head that takes awhile to vanish, leaves some nice lacing on the glass as well
S: A perfect balance of pine, tropical fruits, grapefruit, slightly sweet malts, and a hint of bitterness, fantastic smell to this brew.
T: Up front you get a lovely greeting of pine sand grapefruit mixed, then it transitions to those lovely tropical fruits, and finishes with a perfectly balanced mix along with the perfect amount of bitterness. This beer is so well balanced and flavorful, it is absolutely outstanding!
M: Superb mouthfeel, so light crisp and refreshing, leaves your mouth a little dry which leaves you begging for more! So drinkable as well!
O: This beer is phenomenal! Get your hands on it!
