Beautiful light golden and coppery ale that looks perfectly alive with carbonation. One finger head of smooth white foam that fades relatively quickly.
Delicate floral aroma with a hint of citrus or tropical hops (tough to determine), and a light bready malt background.
Immediate dry hops on the tongue and palate, followed by a wave of hop flavors: I thought sweet citrus at first, with a major following of floral and clove honey, all mixed with a subtle malt backbone. That big first blast may be pine. Each sip is very complex, and seems to deliver a slightly different taste.
Bright and refreshing, with a medium malt body. Sprightly and alive; light sting.
This is a very tasty, complex, hop-forward, and refreshing IPA. Oh, and its appearance is lovely. Just enough malts to smooth out the experience.
Thanks to JayORear for the trade!

I’m glad to say that this, my first taste of an Alpine beer, lived up to the hype.
It pours a golden-tan with exceptional clarity. I get a great citrus aroma and some light piney notes. There’s a lively citrus flavor and a light bittering on it. I enjoyed this repeatedly when I found it on tap. An all around well done IPA that hits all the right notes.
