Drank tonight with Pure Hoppiness and Nelson, I thought this was the winner.
A- Golden straw golden color with a 1 finger head and light lacing left on my glass.
S- The Amarillo and Simcoe hops are just awesome, loads of grapefruit citrus and loads of sweeter tropical fruit and a hint of lemongrass... Just a great scent, a true west coast IPA for Hopheads, I love my hops. Not much malt which is great for me, pretty much a perfect IPA.
T- Loads of citrus hops with tropical highlights, slight malty backbone but the citrus and sweet tropical fruit dominate and lead to a delicious dry finish.
M- Light body, refreshing, easily drinkable IPA with loads of flavors and scents... Hopheads dream beer.
D- Very easy to drink and absolutely no trace of alcohol, awesome job Alpine I enjoyed this more than Pure Hoppines...

I’m glad to say that this, my first taste of an Alpine beer, lived up to the hype.
It pours a golden-tan with exceptional clarity. I get a great citrus aroma and some light piney notes. There’s a lively citrus flavor and a light bittering on it. I enjoyed this repeatedly when I found it on tap. An all around well done IPA that hits all the right notes.
