A 22 oz bottle from barfdiggs; thanks Ward!
Pours a golden straw color with about two inches of bubbly, white head with a frothy appearance to the superior surface. Monstrous quantities of wet, gob-like lacing is left in it's wake. This is how an IPA should look. It smells of honey, grapefruit, piney hops, lemon, some orange, and a bit of straw. Great nose! The taste certainly keeps up with this already tremendous brew, consisting of piney hops in the front, lemon, orange, and some grapefruit citrus in the middle, and a bit of honey and caramel in the rear. Very well done. The mouth is superior; a bit of a bitter finish, but an otherwise smooth, velvety texture from perfect carbonation. The finish is flawless, not leaving a sticky film in my mouth or frantically searching for my next glass of water; just a very content palatal sensation. A phenomenal IPA that I will actively search for again.

Bottle poured into an IPA glass
A - Big golden straw color with a solid two finger head that lingers. Lots of carbonation.
S - Dankness, grapefruit, a little citrusy, not a heck of a lot of malt in the background. Very hop forward.
T - Hops! Grapefruit forward with some dankness. A touch of citrusy hops with just the right amount of bitterness. Crushable.
P - Prickly with a nice bitterness without being overdone. Active carbonation on the tongue. Dry finish.
O - Much better than Nelson imo. The taste and mouth on it are pretty spot on for a DIPA. It's quite dry without much malt presence.
