Poured from a 22oz bottle into a Founders pint glass. Got it at the brewery, not more than a week old.
A - Clear dark golden yellow, almost orange. Eggshell head that leaves minimal lacing.
S - Peaches, cut grass, a little cat piss. Can also smell so light bread.
T - Follows nose. Stewed peaches, light citrus, a little cat piss. Light bready character on finish. Finishes dry, but not bone dry. You can still taste a hint of the peaches afterword.
M - Medium, but on the light side. Good blend of creaminess and crispness. Carbonation is medium.
O - Great subtle IPA. Lots of good flavors w/o being overwhelming bitter.

I’m glad to say that this, my first taste of an Alpine beer, lived up to the hype.
It pours a golden-tan with exceptional clarity. I get a great citrus aroma and some light piney notes. There’s a lively citrus flavor and a light bittering on it. I enjoyed this repeatedly when I found it on tap. An all around well done IPA that hits all the right notes.
