22oz bottle poured into a Portsmouth goblet.
A - Pours a clear, light golden color with a thick creamy white head, 2 fingers high with very good retention and holds its shape incredibly well. Lots of sticky lacing on the sides of the glass. Gorgeous IPA.
S - Tons of thick, resiny pine and freshly peeled grapefruit. Really citrusy and fresh smelling. Not grabbing much malt in the nose, but in this case, it isn't a complaint at all. This is the freshest, most grapefruity aroma I've experienced in a beer. Fantastic!
T - Taste mirrors the aroma. Grapefruit is even amplified a bit. This tastes like freshly peeled grapefruit that is eaten like an orange. I could drink this for breakfast. Also a good amount of pine that rounds out the hop profile and just the right amount of malty sweetness to take the edge off of the bitterness and smooth out the flavor. This is really good!
M - Mouthfeel is a touch on the thin side, but has a nice slick, slightly oily feel on the tongue. Carbonation is fine and quite prickly on the tongue. Resiny hops sit on the tongue and hang around well after the swallow. Very good.
D - I have a new favorite IPA. Just when I was convinced that the Alesmith IPA couldn't be beat, this one does it for me. Amazing, fresh citrusy taste propels this one. 7% alcohol isn't really low, but is manageable. I would be very happy having a couple of these/staying with it all night.
Seek this one out. If you love IPA's you won't be disappointed.

I’m glad to say that this, my first taste of an Alpine beer, lived up to the hype.
It pours a golden-tan with exceptional clarity. I get a great citrus aroma and some light piney notes. There’s a lively citrus flavor and a light bittering on it. I enjoyed this repeatedly when I found it on tap. An all around well done IPA that hits all the right notes.

A: Pours more of a gold color but when resting in the glass it is gold with a slight orange hue, leaves a frothy head that takes awhile to vanish, leaves some nice lacing on the glass as well
S: A perfect balance of pine, tropical fruits, grapefruit, slightly sweet malts, and a hint of bitterness, fantastic smell to this brew.
T: Up front you get a lovely greeting of pine sand grapefruit mixed, then it transitions to those lovely tropical fruits, and finishes with a perfectly balanced mix along with the perfect amount of bitterness. This beer is so well balanced and flavorful, it is absolutely outstanding!
M: Superb mouthfeel, so light crisp and refreshing, leaves your mouth a little dry which leaves you begging for more! So drinkable as well!
O: This beer is phenomenal! Get your hands on it!
