A West Coast IPA that features Amarillo and Simcoe hops "in harmony," giving a light, floral aroma. Duet is nicely bitter with the perfect amount of malt concealed behind the hoppy goodness. Immensely drinkable, amazingly light on its feet.

650ml bottle 7,0% Abv.
Served chilled in an over sized wine glass.
No bottle date visible (WHY???)

A massive thanks to futura123 for this one.

Appearance: Duet appears a lightly hazed, bright golden orange in the glass (perhaps one shade lighter than Pure Hopiness), with a rough pour generating a large white head. The head lasts fantastically well and coats the glass in some great looking lacing as it slowly recedes.

Smell: Mmmm, it has been far too long since I had a sweet fruity IPA! The nose is absolutely bursting with hoppy goodness, with Amarillo clearly taking the lead. Notes include: Fresh orange juice, tangerine, mango, pineapple, a little red grapefruit, some leafy notes and just a hint of honey malt.

Taste: As the nose suggested, this is one delicious IPA. A big juicy tropical fruit character dominates the initial flavour, with notes of sweet orange, tangerine and mango. These notes are soon joined by red grapefruit, some dank leafy notes and the faintest hint of honey malt. Grapefruit pith as well as a solid bitterness are present in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a medium-high level of carbonation.

Overall: Duet is a fantastic IPA, it is bursting with flavour, but remains ridiculously drinkable. I would kill to have a keg of this stuff over the summer!
