A West Coast IPA that features Amarillo and Simcoe hops "in harmony," giving a light, floral aroma. Duet is nicely bitter with the perfect amount of malt concealed behind the hoppy goodness. Immensely drinkable, amazingly light on its feet.

On tap into pint glass.

A- Light orange cloudiness, a good 1 inch of frothy, white head. Decent carbonation and lacing.

S- Fruit and floral in a big way. Wheat and honey combine with a touch of pine, but they all take a huge backseat to the citrus smells.

T- Holds true to the nose, deliciously balanced fruits and grain, no bitterness or bite. Notes of grapefruit, mango, orange peel, all followed by a small grass and malt presence. Very light and smooth.

M- Good amount of carbonation. Very smooth tasting with a loftiness that makes it dangerously easy to consume. Light bodied for an IPA in a really good way.

O- Alpine has yet to let me down. This is another one of the best IPAs out there. I can't say enough good things about this company. Duet has juicy and refreshing character that appeals to the hop lover.

Long on the malt, balanced on the hop. A good palate cleanser. Not a staple.

This is my 1000th beer. Had it on tap at Coin Op in San Diego. Nice and hoppy, but not overly. Good bitterness. Really balanced with the hops. Great hop nose. Glad this was my 1000th check in. Alpine is one of the best small breweries out there.
