Notes/Commercial Description:
A West Coast IPA that features Amarillo and Simcoe hops "in harmony," giving a light, floral aroma. Duet is nicely bitter with the perfect amount of malt concealed behind the hoppy goodness. Immensely drinkable, amazingly light on its feet.

Full, four-finger head on top of clear orange brew. Head has great retention and lacing, decent legs too.

Light, crisp, orange, red apple, apricot, coriander.

Smooth, crisp, wet, complex bitterness. Carbonation light and provides a pillowy smooth foam on-top of the strong flavors of orange, apricot, guava, and mild pine. Nice drawn-out sweetness. Very punctual flavors. Not heavy on pine, very reliant on other strong flavors.

If I had one word to describe this brew, it would be smooth. This brew rocks, highly drinkable. No date on the bottle, but I can tell the hops have faded and have fallen apart a bit. It's still nice and crisp, just not as strong as I had at GABF. Definitely recommended. I'd love to re-review as fresh as possible.

The color is a golden California sunset. Extraordinary nose: All sticky weed, grapefruit and a strange, almost Brett-like, hint of eraser. The lightest and most delicate IPA I've ever had. It's utterly refreshing and shockingly not the least bit bitter. This beer is in a whole other realm from your typical swill IPA that dominates American shelves. It's smooth and sophisticated where others are uncouth, bitter bores. Imagine grapefruit without a hint of bitterness; a fresh, warm loaf of sourdough just out of the oven and a fragrant lemon orchard in a glass. Phenomenal.
