22oz bottle sent to me by rmaste. Thanks!
A: Pours a slightly murky straw-gold color with a fine white head.
S: Nelson sauvin hops shining brightly in the nose. Dense tropical fruits (papaya, mango, overripe pineapple), lemony and a bit catty, light earthiness from the rye. Very nice.
T: Moderately sweet hop taste establishes itself first with some some pineapple and grapefruit and pine notes. Malt profile is clean and light, lending some mild breadiness, a bit of vanilla, some slightly spicy rye. Very restrained bitterness.
M: Light-bodied with active carbonation, creamy feel. Has some heft to it.
O: Fantastic rye IPA with some nice complexity from the Sauvin hops.
