Thanks johndoe8 for trading this one to me.
Golden hue, hazy bodied IPA with a one finger frothy white head. No real retention, spotted lacing drapes around the glass.
Smell has Pineapple mango and rye seed, a general skunky hop character as well as a notable pine and citrus rind presence.
Taste has pineapple, and grapefruit with a rye twang. Some other underlying fruity notes as well as a notable pine character as well.
Mouthfeel has moderate carbonation, slightly prickly and syrupy as well. As an IPA should, but its smack dab in between IIPA and IPA in the mouthfeel category.
Drinkable although a little odd, I would much rather have pure hoppiness or sculpin but I'm glad I had the oppurtunity to try this one. Thanks again Rich.
