Poured from a bottle into a Chimay goblet
A- pours a slightly hazy orange with a half finger white head that fades pretty quickly. Would like more head, but I really like the color of it
S- I have the glass sitting a foot away fro me, and the aroma just comes and attacks my nose with a huge burst of grapefruit and orange. It smells absolutely divine
T- starts off slightly bitter, and the finish is slightly sweet, with grapefruit prominent throughout. Taste is actually a little bit more subdued than I'd expect
M- it's actually perfect. Not syrupy, not watery...about standard for the course, but that's a good thing
O- this is a good one. Real easy drinking for my first Alpine beer

What can I say that hasnt been said already, this brew is so well balanced and full of amazing grapefruit aroma and amazing clean citrus taste that it lives up to all the hype.
I enjoyed a bomber while we pulled off the road in De Luz Ca for a picnic about an hour away from where this is brewed.
Paired with deviled eggs and microgreens this beer blew us all away. Did I say well balanced? Amazing nose full of nelson grapefruit and nice carbonated bite with a very unique slightly diesely oily overtaste. Hops are the star of the show here with just enough malt to smooth it out. One of my new favorites. We hope to go to the brewery soon and try it off the tap. *** Highly recommended

On tap at the brewpub in Alpine.
Appearance: Hazy pale yellow with a durable white colored head that leaves a temporary coating on the glass.
Aroma: Hops, with hints of pineapple, grapefruit, starfruit and other tropical notes.
Flavor: Fruity, slightly tart, and only moderately bitter at its peak. Moderate complexity. The hop flavor builds over time but nevers becomes harsh or overbearing
Feel: Light-medium body with near medium carbonation.
O: a distinctive IPA. Recommended.
