Live review of a 22 oz bomber. I can't find any dating.
A: Clear dark amber, it poured with a big creamy head with lacing that died to a good head.
S: Bright tangerine hops, honey, slightly resinous, with a caramel cream base. Rather enticing.
T: More pine and resinous notes than you'd expect from the aroma, it crips out to a lingering gin bitterness. A slight biscuit and mild nut with honey. Interesting, it's similar to the smell, but surprisingly different.
M: Slightly syrupy and frothy to a crisp cleansing finish.
O: This is a good one. I'd make it a regular if it was available in our area.

Thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml bomber into Hill Farmstead stemware. Shared with schen9303.
Pours a 1 finger foamy white head with moderate retention. Beer is a clear goldenrod. Lacing is spotty and sparse with little cling but surprisingly big legs. Solid.
Nose is tropical fruit, cane sugar and pine. Sweet and refreshing with a hop aroma that hints at what's to come.
Opens mango, citrus and starfruit. Resiny and sap hop bitterness enter in the middle balanced by a soapy, cane sugar presence. Real juicy and pulpy. Ends with a nice balance of fruit sweetness and hop bitterness. Aftertaste of pine with a grassy hop film. Very good.
Light to medium bodied with ample carbonation. Lively and crisp in the mouth and goes down sappy and juicy. Messy finish with a lingering aftertaste. Really awesome!
There's certainly a ton of hype behind Alpine's IPAs and Pure Hoppiness doesn't disappoint. Incredibly balanced, not overly bitter with a great feel that brings the whole experience together. Certainly worth the acclaim.
