Style | ABV
American Double / Imperial IPA |  8.00% ABV

Availability: Year-round

Notes/Commercial Description:
This brew uses several varieties and multiple hop additions to the kettle as well as a large "hop back" to give the bitterness and aroma a start. Plenty of dry hops finish it off and give a big hop bouquet.
Draft & 22oz bottles.

look: 4.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.25

A: 4.5 Very clear orange/gold, almost amber in color. Pours a two-inch, off-white head that lingers for a couple minutes.

S: 4.5 Lots of pine up front with a bit of dank and onion. There’s a pretty interesting grassy, earthy aroma that’s balanced by lemon and grapes.

T: 4.25 Lots of hops offering similar flavors as the nose would indicate. A little sweet at first followed by pine, onion, grapefruit, and that earthy element that I can’t quite put my finger on. The finish is pleasantly bitter.

M: 4.5 The body is very nice and can deliver the big hop flavors without being too heavy. The dryness on the finish makes this beer very refreshing and hides the 8% abv extremely well.

O: 4.25 I had high hopes for this DIPA based on my previous experiences with Alpines beers and I was not let down. I think I prefer duet and nelson, but this is still excellent and worth seeking out.
