Pours a lovely, crystal clear gold, with a typhoon swirl of carbonation and a thick, slightly off-white head.
Some orange peel present in the aroma, but fairly faint. Mostly spicy. I didn't find the scent all that appealing -- it struck me as a bit rough.
The honey comes through quite clearly in the flavor, lending a nice counterbalance to the mandarin orange, which kicks in most strongly at the finish. A bit of corriander spice detectable on the back end too. Very nicely balanced.
The mouthfeel is surprisingly creamy, but carbonation is present enough to keep things light. All in all an extremely drinkable, very tasty beer.

Poured an orange, clear color with one finger of white head when I got it. Minimal lacing on the sides. Minimal retention on the top.
Had to work for the smell initially. Got mandarin, nectarine, citrus, floral and orange rind.
Tasted mandarin, nectarine, floral hops and citrus hops.
Light-to-medium body. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Abrupt finish.
A pretty decent beer, but not great. I probably wouldn’t have it again and definitely wouldn’t if I was at Alpine Beer Company.
