Corner of the block building. Has a parking lot next to the street with just a few spots for vehicles, and a rack for bicycles. Inside, one side has the multi-side bar, plus high top tables and cushioned seats against the wall, and the other side is more of a dining room with standard tables. Small outside patio for the warmer months. Beer and wine available. 36 taps offer a good selection of local and regional craft beer, with regular curated rotation. Full food menu offered on both sides, with creative burgers being a highlight. Well trained and attentive staff. Can get busy and noisy during peak times. Check online for current beer selections.

Fairly small place with a really tiny parking lot. I've often had to park more than a block away. If you go there in the early evening the place is almost always crawling with screaming brats running around. Better if you go after 9:00 or better yet, go to the Noth Loop location (which is the one near the breweties and light rail described in another review). I'm looking forward to the Uptown location's opening this summer with more parking.

Great place to grab a burger and a brew. The tap list has high quality local and national option for craft beer, a few ciders. The burgers are high quality, designed intelligently, and very tasty. They offer flights of beer. Comfortable atmosphere in good location. Walkable to the light rail, just a few minutes. Close to many breweries for a good, quick and easy, walking tour.

Red Cow is an upscale burger joint. Yes, the vibe of the place is as awkard as that sounds. Something about a burger being served by a waiter in a tie seems wrong to me. The wall of TVs seems to contradict the whole upscale thing too.

The service I've had has been prompt, friendly and knowledgable.

The tap list is really well chosen. It has lots of local stuff, and the none local options are all better beers from the breweries they are from.

The burgers I've had have been some of the better burgers I've had in the Twin Cities. Dispite the weird atmosphere the food brings me back.

V: Slight hipster vibe. Lowered lighting, definitely catering to the higher income crowd. Buzzing on a Wednesday night.
Q: Everything is well done, served in the right glassware and clean.
S: Service is decent, they're reasonably attentive. I asked for recommendations but didn't get a lot of help there. Otherwise fairly good. They kept my beer full.
S: 30+ taps of quality stuff. Some limited release stuff as well. Lots of Minnesota beers, some good stuff from out of state as well.
F: Top notch. I had the turkey burger and it was extremely well crafted. Wonderful mix of flavors in their dishes and reasonable prices.

I'd definitely go again

This is a family place where you can take kids and get them something to eat while you work your way through their list of 34 tap beers (all of them good) and 34 bottles and cans. They are known for their burgers which are excellent and they also have plates to share, sandwiches and soups.

Awesome food (grilled cheese if superb). Excellent tap list that is always changing. The only negative is lack of parking. I go here whenever I can, it's always worth the trip.

Went last night for a Deschutes Tap Take-Over.

Nicely laid out, several big-screens behind the bar, all showing hockey, albiet different games (da Brunz and Habs won, yay!). Noisy and packed with a wait for tables on a Tuesday night around 8:45 pm. Had to wait for a stool at the bar as well. Bar tender gave me the beer menu to look over, but even after getting a seat it took a while to get his attention to order, but once I did, my beer arrived in very short order.

Excellent selection and they now serve four-glass flights. $15 for what amounts to about a pint is a little high in my estimation, even if two of them were different years of Abyss. I may be off here as I haven't been out for beers like this in a long, looong time. On the other hand, the first beer I tried I didn't like at all. I drank maybe a third of it and the bartender was kind enough to take it off my bill.

36 taps including Duvel and some interesting stateside brews. PBR, Bud and other mass market tallboys in the cooler.

I didn't try the food as I'd already eaten well elsewhere. I'll have to give it a try in the future.

went to have dinner here with the wife its located in the old Blockbusters store it s renovated very nicely with seating both left and right as you walk in bar and seating is on the left we were seated quickly and the place was almost full i ordered the breakfast burger with chicken wings and fries they look to have about 40 taps and several bottle of brew also the tap list is good but its not great bells, surly, deschutes, brooklyn, stone, and several local brews which i liked seeing they did not offer flights when i was there but said they most likely they would very soon .. like i said the beer is very good just not rare or seasonal/limited kegs very adequate thou, good service, beer, food, it is a bit pricey and there is very little parking
