Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch white head over a bright golden amber body with scant to no lacing. Nice nose of lemon followed by a taste of more of the same. Nice feel and overall, very interesting in that it does indeed taste like limoncello. Cheers!

Poured from a pint bottle into a tulip glass. A little over seven months old. On sale at Liquor Mart in Boulder, CO.

L- Coppery red color, half inch white head

S- Passionfruit, hoppy, citrus, almost like candy

T- Straight passionfruit, some lemon tones, nice balance of tart and bitter, no hint of alcohol for a 9.1% IPA. Very tropical and pleasant.

F- Finishes dry, which I like. It has a bright and vibrant mouthfeel, probably due to effervescence and slight tartness. The finish seems to dance upon the palate; very lively.

O- Insanely drinkable and reminiscent of a Brettanomyces fermented IPA, but without the blue cheese semi-funk that oftentimes finds its way into such beers. I honestly can't fathom why it's a poor seller and on sale. Non-hop-heads seem to find it delicious but a tad overwhelming (based upon my roommates' impressions; they were enamored over the aroma, to note). Add into the equation that it's a collaboration betwixt three outstanding breweries, from three different countries with wildly different brewing traditions, and you've got something special. I will buy this again, and I would absolutely recommend to anyone who is into IPAs or dry hopped sours (though I wouldn't call this sour by any means). Solid, well-balanced, delicious brew.
