Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass.
A real nice looker of a pale, crystal clear, a perfect copper toned body with minimal carbonation capped with a nice tall three finger fluffy and off white head, with a big retention cap that stays for a good period of time. Nice looker.
Good hints of spicy toasted malt, a slight sweetness on the backbone not quite caramel thick, but feels like light brown sugar. Toasty. Airy. Inviting.
Palate brings a real wonderful hop forward and balanced light pale ale body. Light malts, with continuing hint of sugars and toasty cinnamon, but the hops come forward nicely. Staying in the pale ale realm, but a nice lingering hop bitterness in the finish. Earth and pine, with a perfect complimenting toasty malt depth. Hop angle builds real slowly on the finish, some more grapefruit hinting rind comes into play as well on the aftertaste. Good solid palate feel with nothing distracting from the tastebuds.
Really nicely integrated, light and easy drinking, but clocks in with an undescerning 6.3 abv you never would have guessed at. Real good pale ale.

poured from a 12oz bottle into a tall glass. No bottle dating that I could find.
Beautiful crisp golden color with a small white head, which dissipated to a thin collar . Very little carbonation. No lacing to speak of.
Was getting a pretty good punch of hops and citrusy fruit from the nose.
Taste was very good indeed, got a really nice hop bite with a wash of fruitiness too. Good balance.
Mouth was around medium.
Overall, pretty pleased with this beer. Looked good, smelled good, tasted good . looking forward to the other 5 in the fridge.
