A Hazy yellow beer, minor head, no lace.
S Salty sour, grapefruit hops
T Lots of sour flavor which is pretty unnerving
M The aftertaste left in your mouth is a sour puss pond flavor that lingers a bit too long.
O Had on tap at the Republic Street Bar, got to keep the cool Martin House can shaped glass. The Sulky Brunettes at Mattfest 2014 made the beer much better though. It's an interesting beer, not sure I like it or would drunk again though. (448 characters)

Very light tart fruit flavor with a hint of salt initially. Salt comes on mid-taste and continues through to linger with a very nice salty aftertaste. Tartness also gets a bit stronger as the beer warms. (203 characters)

This one ends my need to trade for Westbrook Gose! Perfectly tart and salt forward. Nice and crisp with a really clean mouthfeel. It's the beer for the brutal Texas Summers! Martin House hit it out of the park with this beer. (225 characters)

12 oz. on-tap at brewery on 7/19/14

L: cloudy yellow ... no gold nor amber in this one, it's lemon yellow; white head that leaves thick collar but no stick or lace

S: lemons ... both sour and sweet; some green grass; lemony fish ... almost like ceviche -- kinda cool

T: they're not kidding about the salt ... a salty sour taste very well balanced by a huge grain note; the grain is fantastic and keeps this from being too sour

F: lightweight but full with plenty of carbonation. very nice

O: fantastic first shot at trying a gose ... if this is what this style is all about, i get why so many people are hopping on board; it's plenty tart but there's also a lot of grain taste to help sweeten and balance; also, there is no mistaking the saltiness here ... good brew (and cool brewery!) (791 characters)

A: Cloudy golden color with a 3/4ths inch head.
S: Somewhat faint, some tart acidic scent.
T: Very nice flavor, lots of sourness, but not overwhelmingly tart. Coriander is very light. Salt is detectable but not unpleasant. Very refreshing and drinkable.
M: Lots of carbonation, with spritzy mouthfeel.

Nice gose, as good as the original German variety. (354 characters)
