I went here with "C" for lunch and had a great time. Both of us parked in front and I guess we were fortunate. Timing is everything. I understand that there is parking in the back, also.
A: We sat in the Biergarten and it was a perfect day: cloudy and 70 degree. If it isn't too busy, you can bring your dog. I brought my well-behaved pup and there was another party that brought their dog and sat at the table nest to us. There is a shady covered area there; but we sat under the shade of the trees.
Q: We had a hand-made pretzel for an appetizer with cheese sauce and a whole bunch of mustards and ketchups that come with it. It is better than most and certainly better than just ok. They have vegan food and their vegetables are organic. The brat sandwich is served on a hoagie bun but the potato salad and sausage did not disappoint.
Service: I liked our server but I thought the food came out slow as did the beers. He did know beers and I was happy when they were out of Maisel Weisse but did have Weihenstephaner on tap and he was the first to say it was a better beer.
Selection: They had Weihenstephaner on tap plus other German, Belgium, and craft beer on tap and different beers in bottles. Better than outstanding.
V: The bill was high but the food was very good as was the beer. I liked that the beers for the most part come in a glass from the brewery as did the Weihenstephaner and the Spaten.

Loved the atmosphere of the small dining bar area. Stuck with saisons from Odell brewery in Colorado and DuPont in the small bottle.
We ordered spicy brat and rattlesnake brats. Both were very good. Bar keep was friendly and helpful. We had no issue with parking but had a compact vehicle and was mid day. Evenings would Prob be a hassle unless your vehicle is nimble. Belgiums were 7-10 and Germans about 5-7. I forget the craft American. Date cake gelato was tasty stuff.
We plan to return when in area for sure.

Brat Haus has an atmosphere I enjoy with the biergarten setup with plenty of outdoor areas for seating. Review is only for daytime visits - I've heard it's crazy weekend nights.
Taps are happily skewed towards German and Belgian beers, with a decent mixture of American craft that includes a few hoppy options. One of my main complaints needs to come up right away - they're way overpriced with the Belgian options. They should either ditch them for cheaper Belgians, lower prices, or give up on that angle altogether. German and American options seemed priced within reasonable range compared to competition.
Pretzels here are NOT the frozen & reheated ones like you'll find at a popular brewery/beer bar not far from here. These are made in house and come with an assortment of dipping options that include their own house made mustards and more. The Brats and others are not strictly traditional German, and they use a different sort of bread for the buns.
Appreciate that style appropriate glassware is used, often with the original brewery glass example & logo where available. It would really be idiotic to serve up an IPA in a dimpled German mug, for example.
Parking is atrocious. Expect a large tab.
Great location just a block or so from The Praying Monk.
