I have been waiting for an occasion to finally enjoy this one, and that day has come.
Appearance: Very murky medium to dark body, capped with a big off-whte head that is very sticky and resilient. There is great lacing, and a creamy layer on top of the beer long after the pour.
Smell: Fruity and musty, alcohol and hard candy. Smells sweet and very smooth.
Taste: Maybe not of this world, has a slightly spicy flavor from the alcohol (black pepper), Sweet like pineapple and pear, but the hops are definitely not lost in this one. Everything blends, separates, repeats over and over it seems. This is the best quadrupel I have ever had, most likely best beer in the world.
Drinkability: This beer did not disappoint, start to finish, it lived up to the hype. I wish getting another one would be a little easier.
