Gold capped bottle with a best before date of 8/29/10.
A: Pours a deep reddish brown with an enormous head. The froth is off white in color and dissipated slowly. Lacing was beautiful on the glass. Slight amounts of sediment were poured in.
S: Molasses and fruit such as figs was present, also some raisin and bubblegum were detectable.
T: Simply put, delicious. Malt, plums, and a vast array of other various dark sugared tastes were a delight to the palate.
M: Moderately warming, with a somewhat lighter consistency than what I expected. Feels great in your mouth and going down.
D: Will I find myself craving this beer at many different occasions? Yes. However, some points taken off due to its rarity and inability to be a session beer
