Big thanks to Thijs for getting me 2 bottles. Split one with my dad and the other with a friend.
Poured from the label-less bottle into a chalice.
Appearance: Pours a bubbley, chocolate-amber color with wonderful lacing. The head quickly recedes leaving a small ring on top.
Smell: Very complex, dark fruits, milk chocolate. Surprised there is no alcohol present in the nose.
Taste: Again complex. Dark fruits (plums??) milk chocolate. No alcohol flavor. Just a complex multitude of plums, figs, and chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Wonderful. If I had more bottles they'd be gone. But then I'd be on the floor because the 10.2% abv can be felt but not tasted.
Serving type: bottle
