This is a small store loaded with attractions. They have several taps for pints and growlers. Consequently, one can have a fine beer while shopping. I didn't notice this until it was too late, but really enjoyed my time. The owner/operator is very knowledgeable and friendly, with a level of attention that seemed to reflect the desires and needs of the customer. He helped guide me, as an out-of-state buyer, to beers I would normally be unable to purchase. Plenty of local and sort of local microbrews. Plenty of exotic and rare beers, at least for such a small store. Little if any upcharge for singles. Most beers at stored at room temp.. but there are quite a few in coolers, including a few that didn't seem to be on the shelf.
Ohio minimum prices (weird, huh?) are used, so if in the area. why shop elsewhere?

As this is on my way to work in Columbus, I was really happy to see it pop up. The owner, Brad, just opened this past February 2013. When you walk in, the entire right side is dedicated to singles (priced as a six pack / six, aka about $1.79/bottle). It's nice to see singles that aren't marked up 200% (I'm looking at you, Anderson's). The middle of the store is dominated by a double-sided shelf unit packed with bombers. The left wall contains wine and the back of the store has a 4-tap growler fill system.
I was surprised there weren't more Ohio regulars here, but the selection was still top notch. The store had Founders KBS, Three Floyds Jinx Proof, Evil Twin Biscotti, Stillwater, Goose Island, etc. Prices were reasonable (a bottle of Stillwater As Follows ran me $9.99 while the Biscotti ran $12.99). Brad and his wife are just getting started but, after a short conversation, I can tell the man definitely knows his stuff. We discussed a just announced Cigar City beer and he knew all about it.
I'd love to see this place prosper. The owners genuinely seem to want to help the craft beer market. It actually took me two laps around the store to find the MBC (they are stuffed on the back of the aisle unit, bottom shelf). That, in itself, was impressive to me.
