On tap at the brewery taproom In San Diego.

Pours hazy orange-aber with a small, semi-durable off-white head. Limited lacing on the glass.

Aroma: strawberries and light bread.

Flavor: Excellent sweet/bitter balance with a touch of tartness. Natural strawberry flavor is ample but in balance with the malts.

O: Recommended.

Liked the fact that it didn't taste artificial strawberry, not a fruit guy tho

Beautiful clear amber beer with a decent cap of foam. The delicate strawberry fragrance carries through in the taste as well. Slightly sharp with fruit. Pleasantly sudsy in the mouth with a touch of honey in the nose.

Slightly sweet, well fairly sweet but that touch of acidity helps the drinkability. This is a really good way to add some interest to a Blonde Ale. The usual flabby malt and lack of hops actually enhance the berry flavor. I don't think this is so flavored up to make it into the Fruit/Vegetable category, so that makes it a really excellent Blonde Ale.
