Located in the old Mission Brewery and adjacent to the Washington Street Trolley station, Accoustics is a relatively new addition to the city's overwhelming beer scene. They offer a wide array of styles, all brewed with style and taste. All of which (15 taps) can be enjoyed in the cozy tasting room,, complete with plush easy chairs, a comfortable bar and plenty of room to schmooze. Always a few dogs sleeping around as well. Definitly worth a trip - for Man or Man's Best Friend.

Cool looking tasting room outshines the quality of the beer and the service was lackluster. Could have have more beers on draft that they had available in bottles so you could taste before you buy.

Leather chairs and couches, a couple of flatscreen TV’s, one table, a fine copper bar with comfortable bar stools; 13 drafts, 2 nitro, and 2 cask beers. Decent music at a reasonable volume, allowing normal conversation. Friendly, knowlegable service. Strawberry Blond was a pleasant surprise.

I love Acoustic Ales! The tasting room has the best feel in all of San Diego. Comfortable bar, tables, couches. Tons of TV's and great music. Food trucks are bomb. It's located in the oldest standing brewery in San Diego, the historical aspect is really cool and the buildings are beautiful. Complete with a copper roof. You can also see inside the brewery from above and watch the magic happen.
Cheers!

Dropped by here on a recent trip to San Diego. It's in the Mission Brewery Plaza off of I-5 (in which Mission Brewery is no longer located).
Cozy little tasting room with couches, board games, retro-y decor. Mix of old hippies and young hipsters. Comfortable and chill. Very San Diego.
The beers are pretty hop centric, all quality. My favorite was the You'll Hop Your Rye Out winter beer. On the less hoppy side, there was a good chocolate stout and pre-prohibition lager (which seems to be in style in the area these days).
The bartender was cool, pretty knowledgeable, attentive. Knew some of the regulars.
They don't serve meals but they do have snacks, like nuts and Cheez Its.
The beers were pretty well priced for the area. Tasters (~3 oz) were $2.50 a pop.
Overall a nice place, laid back, good beers. The kind of place I wish I lived near, I would visit them regularly.
