Time to edit my review from 2008! This place has taken MAJOR strides with regard to the variety of craft beer offerings. You'll even find some of the hard to find releases.
Pricing is competitive with other area shops. Beverage Barn should be on your list of places to check out if you're in the area.

Pretty solid selection of bombers and six packs. Can find some unusual stuff. Picked up a botgle of Caddilac Mountain Stout here a few weeks ago.

This place is in serious need of a more recent review. They have definitely gotten their act together since last fall, and have made a concerted effort to stay up to date.

I have been more than pleasantly surprised lately- just today I was able to snag some Bourbon County, but there were so many others vying for my attention. The most noticible change is in the end cap with bombers/special releases- so many to choose from including Firestone Walker, the aforementioned BCBS, a host of excellent regulars, Belgian Yeti, etc.- all at very reasonable prices.

The other sections have improved as well. They do like to be thorough in this store- meaning if they carry a brewer then they will have a number of their offerings. that holds true for three main aisles: Craft, Import and 'bulk craft' (like SA and SN). It's great to see so many four-packs of Unibroue on display, for example.

Give this store a shot- you will definitely walk out with something. For the area this is one of the best stores around. And, in a more general sense, it's still better than Good.

its a good beer place and do carry an nice varity of craft beers.. they do have brooklyn, dogfishhead, hop devil, rouge, stone and many more ...oskar blues.. you just have to look for it amongst all the wines and liquor.. it is a little pricey for some beers and they dont ever really have sales but overall they carry some nice craft beers that most liquor stores in area dont have.. service was good and willing at answer questions to a degree..i recomand stopping in to see what they have .. they also have a wide varity of macro brews.. you can find any of yyour favs..

i stopped in this past weekend to see what these guys have. they have more wine than beer but the selection was good. they have some belgians (Corsendonk, Chimay) but more of a selection of domestic beers (ommegang, saranac, sam adams, flying fish, bud, coors), and then some guinness and peroni.

not too much out of the ordinary here, worth a try if you live in the area, because i live about 15 minutes from this store i probably wont be going back.

i gave a reasonable cause there were no prices marked by the beer and i did not purchase anything.

they didnt ask me if i wanted help until i was half way out the door.

I just got a great deal from here, so I'm being generous in the ratings. I noticed the Aventinus Eisbock bottles had two prices on them, so I bought one up to the register to see what was up. The guy told me they were $3.50 but he would give me the lower price. I quickly ran back to the shelf and grabbed their whole supply for $1.99 each.
Other than that, like Davo said, I saw way too many summer seasonals and a lot of old singles laying around. It's still probably one of the best places in that area.
