A - Opened the can and immediately could see head coming out and a blast of flavor. Poured into a pint glass, a deep orange, gold, with a 2 to 3 finger off white head. This is how a DIPA should look!

S - I can't say enough good things about the smell, very pineapple up front, then grapefruit, sweetness, piney, orange, ends with on a curious note to take a drink. Very appealing to the nose.

T - This is very complex to describe. Very balanced in terms of sweetness, bitterness, malty, pine. This is balanced so excellent. This is your traditional West Coast IPA on steroids.

M - A medium to high body, very smooth going down, a comforting feeling around the palate from carbonation, warming going down, I am assuming from the alcohol. Very balanced with the mouthfeel and very drinkable.

Overall - I've had the other so called quality DIPA's out there, Heady, Pliny, you name it and I must say, this definitely should be hanging up there with the big boys. Everything is so balanced, very drinkable, and I can't understand how this has the score it does on here? Perhaps a bad batch? I had mine fresh I know that much forsure and this was a VERY good experience. I will be back for more. The Dudes nailed this one, balanced, they brought the complexity of all aspects of the hops, enjoyable, drinkable and more. A must try for any DIPA fan out there. I will definitely have this in my fridge at all times. Wow!

Again canned some more Dudes open from Total Wine in Northridge CA.

A- Ruby, Sapphire and Orange colors are what come to me when I look at this beer. Simply a great beer to look at. Medium thick head keeps you company while drinking.

S- Hop bitterness fills the nose and finishes with the faint smell of grape fruit, orange, pineapple and dank.

T- A blast of hops come forward and surprise with a finish of sugar and malt. Compliments the hops nicely while the alcohol warmness begins to creep in and solidify itself.

A solid offering from the dudes. I would definitely seek this beer out from bars for draft offerings.

taste: sweet and malty to start. then grassy, notes of grapefruit, ending with a bit of warmth from alcohol.

mouthfeel: good amount of carbonation and a small amount of hop oil

overall pretty good for the price and the abv. def on the heavy side but overall a good beer that id get again.

Pours a clear orange/yellow honey color. Lots of creamy off white head. Big aroma with lots of pine, citrus, and grapefruit. Get some astringent notes and some caramel/biscuit malty aroma as well. Taste is a big hoppy DIPA. Taste follows the nose with pine, grapefruit and caramel malt. Significant bitterness. Finishs dry and not sticky which makes it easy to drink. Medium mouthfeel which is surprising for 10%+ beer.

Overall good DIPA that's has a big piney, citrus hop flavor and very bitter. easy to drink and not syrupy or too sweet. I'll be picking this up fairly often at $11 for 4, 16 oz cans.

On tap at 38 Degrees in Alhambra, CA.

Pours a clear honey orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and slight tropical fruits. Taste is much the same with citrus and tropical flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
