A Belgium style Blonde Ale perfect for an adventure amidst the lakes and trails of the backcountry. This Blonde balances hints of citrus and Belgium yeast much like you balance a canoe on your shoulders. Effortlessly.

Poured from a 12 oz. can into a tall pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a bright straw golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Big three finger white head with decent retention.

Smell: A yeasty, bready, and fairly fruity malt forward aroma with good hints of Belgian yeast, grains, and fruit. Belgian yeast with some hints of pepper and clove. Pale malt with some hints of wheat, grains, biscuit, cracker, and straw. Citrus hints of orange and lemon zest. Some light honey like hints as well. A pretty nice Blonde style aroma.

Taste: Like the aroma, a crisp, yeasty, and fairly fruity Blonde style taste with good notes of Belgian yeast and citrus. Upfront Belgian yeast with notes of clove and pepper spicing. Pale malt with notes of grains, wheat, straw, biscuit, and cracker. Mild sweet notes of honey. Citrus fruit notes of lemon zest and orange. A pretty nice crisp taste.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a fairly high level of carbonation. Very crisp and smooth with a fairly drying finish.

Overall: A pretty solid take on a Blonde Ale. Good Belgian yeast notes with some nice subtle fruit. (1,115 characters)

Serving glass: Poured from can into Tulip.

Appearance: Hazy golden blonde with good sized white head.

Smell: Strong, semi-sweet aroma of toast, biscuit and banana.

Taste: A little more muted than the aroma, with toast, biscuit, banana, clove and floral hops. There is a lingering sweet fruit aftertaste.

Feel: Relatively light body with ample carbonation. Finish is almost dry but not clean due to the aftertaste.

Overall: Very solid representation of the Belgian Blonde Ale style. If this finished a little more crisp and clean, this would be outstanding. (561 characters)

A-Poured from a can into a pint glass. A medium golden blonde and somewhat hazed. Moderate carbonate and a thin white head.
S-You readily smell the yeast aroma, which is fruity, lemon, orange, grapefruit, and other citrus flavors.
T-A good summer beer with some character. Malt provides some body and depth with bread and biscuit character while the Belgian yeast delivers the lemon, orange, and other citrus flavors. Fairly sweet and very mildly hopped. It maintains its flavor profile and finishes clean.
M-Sweet and malt provides a marginally bready mouthfeel.
O-A very refreshing and pleasant summer beer that provides a very good combination of malt and yeast balance. (677 characters)

Beer pours a pale straw with a thin head. Aroma is primarily of spicy hops. The flavor is hop forward, with a light spicy, herbal taste that makes me think of a pilsner. There is little discernible Belgian flavor here, b.ut for a fun summery beer, this works great. Very refreshing (281 characters)

A: Crystal clear golden yellow with a eggshell white head that sticks around. Okay lacing.

S: Fresh cereal grains, lemon, pilsner malts and some slightly spicy belgium yeast esters are very prominent, but not overpowering.

T: Nice clean pilsner taste up front, then some belgium yeast spice comes next. The belgium spice/clove taste is very mild and very well integrated. Very mild citrus hops. Low bitterness, 20 IBUs. Really nice crisp finish. Ever so slight lingering sweet/citrus finish.

M: Medium-light body. Carbonation is slightly high.

O: Awesome drinkability. Really nice overall. Going to get another six pack or two of this stuff before it's done for the year. (675 characters)
