Pint at the Westside Taphouse in West Salem Oregon.
$6.00.
Pours a nice deep golden, small off white head. Luscious lace.
Gotta a quite malty aroma profile. But some floral hops discernable. Pleasant.
Taste is malty but there is a very nice floral hop bite to it . Very good.
Great mouth feel for a blonde. Perfect carbonation and not sticky.
I would say judging by style this is a top Blonde
Enjoying.

Frankly, I would never have even bothered to try this beer, were it not for the fact that I needed to select an additional beer to complete my sampler tray.
The beer pours a solid gold color with decent head retention and lacing. Much to my shock, the nose was quite enticing, and there was a lovely floral aroma (from the considerable dry hopping I assume), along with some light honey and light cherry. This smells delightful. The flavor profile was just more of the same, and this very light on it's feet beer had considerable hoppy bitterness on the finish. The beer was very well balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and light tropical fruit to handle the bitterness. Mouthfeel was very light, and the beer had a crisp and clean bitterness on the finish. Drinkability was exceptional, and I found this to be a beer I enjoyed more and more as I went along, especially once I put aside my preconceptions ("it's an American blond, so of course it's going to suck.").
Excellent, well crafted beer, and a perfect choice to turn to in the hot summer months in Yakima. Color me very, very impressed.
