The beer pours a golden amber orange color with good head retention and lacing. This beer smells terrific, as i get white pepper, dry citrus, a hint of sweet malt and even some light skunky weed. Given the aroma profile, I was just a bit disappointed by the way this beer tasted. While still good, with a light, dry, moderately bitter flavor profile, I just wished the beer could have delivered a bit more flavor. Nevertheless, this is a very easy beer to drink, and is light, crisp, dry, refreshing and lightly bitter on the finish. Mouthfeel is farily light, and the alcohol is completely undetectable.

While I didn't think this beer was anything extraordinary, it's still a very tasty, very easy to enjoy beer from this new to me brewery.

A: Poured a clear light golden color with good carbonation yielding a nice white cap. A good amount of lacing is present and head retention was pretty good.

Smell - Summit/Chinook hops mostly, hard to detect the malts, they are pretty played down here but the aroma is nice.

T: Nice, fresh hop punch intially providing some light grass with hints of citrus and pine needles. A light grain malt bill is present. This APA is all hops though. The finish is rather clean, light bitterness, crisp....

M: Very light body with good carbonation for the style. The feel of light grassy and some pine needles is felt. Light and crisp, refrshing even.

O: Very nice. Easy to drink. This is definitely a West Coast APA but with a lower ABV. Very sessionable and a load of fresh hops makes this a very tasty, crushable brew

Lightly hazed rich gold color with about one finger of the most dense white head I have seen. The modest sized head lasts all the way to the bottom laeving swathes of micro bubble lacing.
Aroma is really big. Pine oil resin with some rich herbal notes. Malts are very much in the background. Taste is bitter pine oil grapefruit rind, some leather and just a touch of pale malt. Seems like the hop oils just coat the tongue which makes the bitter finish last forever. Mouthfeel is thin and well carbonated.
Overall if this was in the session IPA category it might rate 95 to 100. As an APA it needs more malts. Very much enjoyed this beer. Well done Bale Breaker!

12oz can picked up from Brewforia Meridian for $2.... Poured into my tall goblet and it produces 1" of white foam that produces decent white lacing.. the brew is fairly clear golden.

Good citrus hops with some background tropical fruity notes... lite pale maltiness that helps bloom the hops.

Flavor mirrors the nose... but seems weak on the palate overall... A light body makes for a IMO a bit of a watery profile... Still very drinkable... sessionable even.

My big bitch would be this seems like an old can.... I picked it up off of a shelf that was obviously room temperature... just seems a bit stale/old.

I bet this would be great very fresh... and it is something that many breweries don't do... Low ABV/sessionable pale ales are great... this one just didn't seem "fresh".

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and lacing. Pleasant aroma of citrus and mild piney hops, tropical fruit, mild bready malt. Flavor is light biscuit malt with a hint of toastiness, slightly floral citrus hops, lemon and grapefruit rind citrus juice. Finishes with a long lingering grapefruit rind and hop bitterness. Medium bodied with a surprising light creaminess; great body for a low ABV pale ale. Great NW hopped pale ale with a very long flavorful aftertaste and lingering hops. It is hoppy enough to cause regret that it is not higher ABV and more intense, but as a pale ale, it shines.

Very oldschool clingy hop profile. Herbal, bitter citrus, grassy. Clean, decent, but the hop character is lacking. Tastes like they're using fairly large amounts of hops that aren't ideal for a hop forward beer.
