Grabbed a growler of this from Total Wine, and this must be extremely fresh because it taste very similar to Stone Enjoy By's, 10-25 specifically, which was one of my favorite IPAs.

If you love Enjoy By then you will love this beer. It's fantastic.

Poured from a 12 oz. can into a Sam Adams pint glass.

Pours a lovely amber with a one-finger head that quickly dissipates and leaves lacing along the length of the beer.

The aroma is very nice, westy-style. grapefruit, citrus, candied fruit, and a little hint of spice and dankness.

The taste is very nice. Lots of grapefruit with a big initial bitter bite. As my palate adjusts, I also get some candied fruit, lemon zest, some sweet malt below and a hint of spicy hop as well.

Mouthfeel is pretty typical, medium a slightly sticky.

Overall, a very decent IPA. I'd happily drink another.

A: rusty orange. Thin, fluffy head.
S: orange, mango, floral. Small sweet notes.
T: piney, citrusy goodness. Malt is basic, with a little sweetness (barely).
M: medium carbonation. Medium body. Bitter at finish.
O: good IPA. Balanced well, but hop-bomb at the bitter end. Yum

Hazy gold with one finger of white head. Curtain of fine bubble lace.
Smell is pine oil floral grapefruit hops and pale malt. Really bold smell.
Taste is similar to the smell with a bit of sweetness to the malts. Maybe a bit of caramel malts.
Hops are about potent as you want in a standard IPA without losing the individual hop flavors. Mouthfel is medium and carbonation is just enough. This brew has a medium dry bitter finish. This beer is a bit hard to find in my area and I made a special trip to Kennewick, Wa. to get it. Not sure it is worth the $10 per six pack but I am glad to have tried it.

12oz can picked up at Brewforia Meridan for $2... Pours with a nice 2 finger white head that supplies great sheets of lacing.. the beer is slightly hazed orange.

Nose leans toward the tropical fruity hops with some tangerine and grapefruit.... a fair amount of residual maltiness seems out of lace and carries too much caramel malt.

The caramel malts now carry something that I automatically associate with diacetyle... a bit butter/slick for sure... good bitterness and flavor hops help this brew out, but I cannot get past the malty messiness.

Body is light with a light/medium carbonation... still pretty drinkable despite my above negatives.... just needs some work.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium, lightly coppery golden amber with a fine two finger just barely off-white head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of grassy, citrus hops with a hint of dankness, complex fruit dominated by orange family citrus and tropical fruit, an odd but interesting toffee note. Flavor is mixed caramel and biscuit malt with toffee notes and a hint of toastiness, orange family citrus, grapefruit rind. Finishes with long, lingering citrus and grassy hop bitterness. Pleasant lightly creamy medium body, which seems standard from this brewery (even with the pale ale I had this afternoon). I was a bit surprised by the flavor profile of this. While nicely malty and balanced with hops, it had much less herbal hop flavors that I expected from such a well received Northwest IPA. However the hops are not reserved and wonderfully balanced by the malt; the lingering hop flavors are great. The malt really grew on me more and more as I drank the glass. A very tasty IPA. Glad these IPAs are available on the West side now.

Poured into a Funky Buddha brewery snifter. No readable freshness date.

A- Pours a dark amber color with a 1/2 inch light tan head that retains quite well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of surface foam. Sudsy, non-resilient lacing leaves a thin ring behind on the glass.

S- Dank, fresh hop smell that's very grassy and citrusy and has a tinge of malt sweetness in the back. There's actually even a spiciness about it. Also a slight tinge of alcohol.

T- Has a moderate bitterness and is definitely on the more grassy, earthy side of the hop style. Still, very subtle and easy drinking. Though it is approaching 7% ABV, it's very drinkable and the booze goes fairly unnoticed.

M- Pretty oily and slick with medium carbonation and a standard IPA body.

O- The aroma of this beer was very impressive so whatever they did with the dry-hopping was spot on. Then the rest played out like an above-average IPA with decent lasting power. I'd revisit it for sure. Thanks so much to SatlyMalty for the opportunity to try this.
