On tap at True North in the North Park area of San Diego.
Pour is light amber-gold with fine-grained visible carbonation and a very durable, semi-creamy off-white head. Exceptional sticky lacing.
Smell: strong and pungent (hops).
Taste: Not as intense as the aroma suggests yet this could still pass as a DIPA. Medium-high bitterness. Bitterness is moderated by some malts. .
Feel: medium body; medium-high but soft carbonation.
O: Very good IPA IF you like this hop load ... but not my cup of tea.
Serving type: on-tap

While partial to SOCAL-style IPAs (if it isn't yet, "SOCAL IPA" should be an official beer style), I particularly like this offering. A refreshing slight-pine, slight-citrus taste that isn't too overpowering with malt or hops (although the bias is definitely more towards hops). I particularly like that it now comes in 12 oz cans. One of the great San Diego offerings (yep... I am biased towards SD too).

Not "just another IPA" out here in the land of the IPAs
Offered in six packs and on draft almost anywhere I go out here in LA
Looks great in the glass.. Same shade of IPA orange as they're double IPA .
Smells of new age hops combined together. I get a big aroma of this beer without even bringing the glass to my nose. Squeezed fruits, hop bliss, a small earthiness as well
Taste is hops up front - very balanced and not too bitter . After taste leaves you beggin for more. Not much ABV burn or taste here. Very easy drinkin swill
Mouth feel is über refreshing. Crisp from carbonation and not overly carbonated - this mouthfeel but not at all watery.
Overall this flagship beer can rival some of the older classics - not selling as fast as the others making this tough to find real fresh .. I think out here in the west were near the end of the IPA six pack
