When you walk in there are coolers on the right with micros and singles toward the back right. There are also coolers in the back on the left that contain imports and macros.

I did notice a light coat of dust on some of the beer selection. I have also purchased out of date brews from this place before.

Service is conistently awful. It is normal to not see any employees in the store. If you go to the counter with a purchase, employees are still no where to be found. I actually once had to go to the back of the store and grab an employee that was too busy hanging out with friends just to ring me up.

Selection is average. They carry a few more brews than some grocery stores in Columbus. I usually see selections from Bells, Anchor, Sierra Nevada, Samuel Smith, and a few interesting imports.

Nothing about this place makes me want to go back. I have given it several tries over a period of a couple years and have not been impressed.

So I was on my way to Andersons and decided to stop in this place. I noticed a going out of business sign, with everything must go. So I thought maybe they might have a decent selection at a good price. Boy was I wrong! First of all, this place is almost all wine, which I guess is ok, just not what I was looking for. They had the normal macro's and a very small selection of craft beers. They had a few IPA's I wouldn't touch considering they looked like they'd been there for quite some time. I walked out with nothing.

This store is closing. They've had "going out of business" signs hanging from the windows for a couple of weeks. Drove by this weekend and there was a sign near the road that read "Store closing - Everything must go!"

I stopped in a few months back and picked up a few things after reading reviews here. They don't market themselves as a beer store, so I didn't realize they sold anything but wine. Selection was just a bit better than local grocery stores.

Can't say I'll be sad to see this place go. The Anderson's right down the road has a far superior selection, though the pricing on singles at Anderson is a bit high.

I have to Say while it definetly does not market itself as a Beer Place it is not a bad beer place. Focusing more on wine, they have a nice generous selection or Microbrews and imports available for sale both as singles and in 6er's. All selection is cold and ready to drink.
My girlfriend is a huge wine nut (the way I am with beer) and we have started to Frequent there twice weekly wine tastings (thursdays 5-8pm;Saturday 3-6pm) which is very cool because I can open a single or 2 of beer to have while the girlfriend sips away at her wines on the tasting list. As well they don't charge an extra fee for opening a bottle of beer, you pay the single price that the beer costs and then pour away. A fun way to spend an afternoon with wine lovers.
Service is good in my mind, they don't harass you or stand over you while your looking or harp on you about this new beer tney have 10 cases of like at some beer stores. The cashier usually is doing double duty with cash register, cleaning, ordering, helping customers so on a few occasions I've had to wait a few minutes while they finish what they are doing before they can ring me up. In short I say check this Place out!!!

A lot of people have dished on this place. Some deserved, some not.

I have come here for several years, I have friends that live nearby and when I visit, I stop to grab a mix-a-12-or-18 here.

This is primarily a wine store, but they also have about 4 coolers of just singles to pick from (and other coolers with 6ers of the same). The best part is that the price of the singles, is very near (within 5-10 cents) of the price per beer of a 6er. Thats a very small premium to pay versus being stuck with 5 beers I don't care so much for.

The selection is usually changing, so I stop by to see whats new.
They offer a good handful of belgians and germans, a number of bells, avery, mendocino, north coast, rogue, and generally a good number more to try. There is almost always something new to try (not something I can say for most stores!)

The service : This has burned me up a little. There is one guy, not naming any names, but he's quite balding and drives a white older Rabbit, that somehow thinks he is swift and tries to knock up my bill by nickels and dimes. When adding singles, he 'embellishes' the price, and more than once I've had him shortchange me as well (as in $5 back when I should get $10)
This has nearly severed my relationship here, but I can't resist the selection and value here. The other guys here are straight up. Evidently he thinks I'm not that slick in math, and I have to stay vigilant (I point out the error...it is corrected) (I have a degree in math for fucksakes!)

As far as recommendations from staff here, don't count on it. More than once the guy at the counter has inspected bottles with a blank stare wondering 'whats in there?'. Obviously not beer drinkers.

Usually fairly empty unless theres a wine tasting in the back.

Traveling by? Watch for the Target sign on the east side of Sawmill, can't miss it.

As far as the Dublin area goes, this is probably one of the last places any BA would go. That being said, it's not totally worthless.

The selection is probably a little above average. It certainly has more than your typical grocery or convenience store. There's a decent selection of microbrews and imports. They have a bit of Bell's, Stone, Sierra Nevada, Anchor, Breckenridge, and others.

I like the fact that they have a pretty solid selection of refridgerated singles. Be cautious though. The selection certainly has its share of brews that may be a bit old for consumption.

I'm not much of a wine fanatic, so I can't really speak to the wine selection.

The staff is friendly, but far from helpful. They'll greet and chat with you, but forget about offering to help you find anything.

Prices seem to be pretty reasonable for what they offer. They don't seem to be out of line at any rate.

All in all, if I'm in the neighborhood, I go to the Andersons and Whole Foods before this place. But, I occasionally visit and always walk away with something.

I was not at all impressed by this place. I went there for their mix and match 6 packs and found the selection left something to be desired. On top of that they had beer after beer that was well past expired. I did not go there for wine and maybe their wine selection is much better than their beer selection, but I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The service was very poor as well. Honestly when I went in there it looked more like I was inconveniencing them than anything else. They kind of gave me a glance like "Oh its a kid coming in here just to bother us or something."

Really there was nothing all that redeeming about the Wine Vault. It could be an alright place if they took a little bit better care of their stock. Looking and seeing dust on top of the beer is never a pleasant sight.

I like the selection here. All beers are refridgerated, and most can be purchased in singles. If you check the prices, you'll find that singles are the same per bottle prices as 4-packs or 6-packs. So this place is a good stop if you want to try some singles of new beers without the risk of extra beers you might not like.

Quite a few beers are represented, maybe >80 different names. I don't think they carry any American mass pilsners, only reasonably good stuff.

The only negative I can mention is one of the workers (not the owner). This employee is a bearded guy, real slight in build, and he's kind of a snob to customers who purchase beer. I've run into him ~ 3 times, and I don't like his attitude. I generally purchase the best (and most expensive) beers they have too! The owner is really nice though, and I much prefer to buy when he's there.

Have had the chance to go here and purchase some really nice singles that seem to discontinue rapidly at other places. Very nice selection of singles- in fact, I was able to purchase a single bottle of Bell's Batch 6000 way after I could no longer find it anywhere else.

Here is the kicker though. This place has absolutely the worst customer service for beer patrons that I have ever experienced, and for that I will no longer shop here unless absolutely necessary. Anderson's is a much more "beer friendly" environment, and they have always been kind to me as a customer.

Located off Sawmill road in a hard to miss location in front of Target. Mostly for the wine lover but it has a very nice selection of macro's with a gracious singles section (very impressed). The service was standoffish but not rude. Once I went to the beer area I was kind of left alone. If you live in the area this is a nice place for a few different selections. I'd recommend it for the singles selection alone. I bet this place had 30 or more singles. The Anderson's down the street has more variety.
