An assertive and hoppy west coast-style India Pale Ale. Bright hop aromas and flavors fade to a brief, smooth malt undertone and a clean, crisp, slightly bitter finish. This beer is brewed to bite you back!

Look: A very deep amber that has a cloudy orange hue. The head is white and very thin.
Smell: Very perfumey nose... Lemon, Pine, Floral... and I'll say it... almost a manure scent... like driving past a farm... maybe that's just me...
Taste: Very sharp bitters that really come and go quite pleasantly. The hops really shine bright here. Very floral/citrusy west coast style IPA, with very subtle toasted malt characteristics.
Feel: Fine... yet elegant carbonation. Medium bodied and a extremely smooth finish.
Overall: Simply put... will buy again.

An okay WC IPA, but not my favorite.

Thick mouth feel, Super dense hop aroma and malt adequate. Higher carbonation and an ever lasting aftertaste. This is a very good brew and unexpected.

Served on tap in a point glass
Appearance - The beer is served a deep golden amber color with a small white head. The head fades rather fast, leaivng a bit of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell- The aroma is heaviest of a caramel and bready smell mixed with some orange and light topical fruits. Other aromas of grapefruit are rather strong, and are combined with a bit of pine and herb.
Taste - The taste begins with a nice bready malt and sweeter caramel taste, mixed with tangerine grapefruit hop. Other flavors of a light toast and some pine are there as well. As the taste advances more grapefruit and more bready malt comes to the tongue. Toward the end, some pine and light herb hop join in leaving one with a rather pleasantly hopped and more malty taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is thicker and chewier with a lower carbonation.
Overall - A nice, slightly more malty brew with a lot of flavor a a medium abv.

Hard to believe I haven't reviewed this one previously...

"The beer that bites you back"
It's that good 'ol clear, solid amber color. Old school west coast looker. Wildly foamy, off white cap is impressive. Big lace.
When you take a big whiff off the top, you get some very sweet fruity hop aromatics and sweet, caramel style malt up the nose in a big way. Strawberries, pineapple and caramel mostly.
The medium bodied brew is crisp enough but seriously smooth and fuzzy. Bitter earthy pine hop taste is the boldest of the bunch. Semi sweet candy malt is in excellent balance for the style. The earthy pine flavors really roll around, and change throughout the session.
Complex and bold but also nailing the style guidelines. Well crafted.

12 oz can poured into a pilsner glass. Looks and smells hoppy. Tasted hoppy, as it should, supported by Malt, which I like. When you hold a mouthful for a bit it does a dance on your tongue and let's you know it's not fooling around. The malt fades in the after taste but the hops do linger. Reminds of when IPA's first got popular and why I like them. The 7.2 ABV is also a nice-to-have bonus as well.
