Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a golden amber color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Light semi-stringy lace ran here and there.
The aroma displayed a fair blend of citrusy sweet hops and a nice little biscuit malt base. Just an ever so slight touch of earth on the back end.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side and instead of combining into a nice bittersweet blend as it warmed it leaned towards the bitter side. Odd, but I wasn't too bothered by that. Light toast to biscuit to citrusy hopppiness in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Developing bitter harshness did come across but wasn't too distracting. ABV felt on par. Carbonation felt as it should. Moderate finish of the citrusy hops and biscuit.
Overal, it's a decent APA that I could come back to if given the chance.

On draft at Paddy's in West Newton MA. 4 pints so I really field-tested (and enjoyed!) this one. Similar taste profile of their celebrated Greenhead IPA. hoppy, maybe a tad more balanced. A well-crafted brew.

Golden colored ale with a moderate amount of malt, fruit flavoring and hops. A bit bitter but enjoyable all the same. Overall, a decent beer and one of the stronger offerings from NPBC

From can
L - Cloudy amber color with thick, carbonated off-white head which disipated fairly quickly. Minimal lacing.
S - Slight citrus smell with malt mix.
T - Kind of a stiff malt taste but otherwise okay.
F - Medium mouth feel.
O - Not too bad. Feel kind of weird giving it all 3.5's, but it seemed an average type beer.
