In reviewing this beer, I will describe my experience in how I even came to have a pint of it sitting in front of me. The bar I was at had just kicked the Southern Tier Pumpking. The Travelers was the replacement. They gave me a taster. It actually tasted pretty good.
Don't fall into that trap. One one ounce swallow is akin to getting a sip of Hawaiian Punch. It tastes pretty good. It's when you get a mouth full, then a throat full, and then a belly full of this stuff, you realize the mistake you made.
It's sickly sweet and fizzy. It's almost like a soda. It smells pretty good, and it looks pretty good. But, the flavors are cloying.
I wish I had looked it up on BA before I "fell" for the taster offered to me.
Hey, there's a market for Boone's Farm too, so this will appeal to some people's tastes. Unfortunately, not mine.

Drank from a 12 oz bottle. First thing that popped out was the nice and pleasant smell. Overall not a bad pumpkin beer, good taste with subtle hint of lemon. Not very bitter or hoppy, in fact not at all. Good body and not too strong of an after taste. This is a decent beer and worthy of being on this website.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: Reddish brown with a thin white head.
Smell: Hops, lemon, pumpkin spice, cinnamon
Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium to light bodied. Taste of malts, lemon, cinnamon and pumpkin spice.
Overall: This is by far one of the best pumpkin ales I have had so far. New favorite for me!

OK, This is the most interesting pumpkin beer I have had. The color and head, lacing, etc. are fine. The taste is very unique. It has a cold sweet flavor but not too sweet as to be undrinkable. Maybe a little molasses. The pumpkin flavor is very pronounced and it is not masked by a lot of nutmeg or cinnamon which a lot of the other pumpkins have. Overall, nice and drinks like juice more than beer, interesting !!

A- pours a dark amber color with a fizzy two-finger head that reduces to a small fizzy layer
S- at first it smells like a wittier with lots of lemon peel, but as it warms some clove, coriander and nutmeg comes out, along with some cinnamon chewing gum
T-It's definitely got that classic shandy flavor; candied lemon peel and coriander with that pseudo-lemonaide flavor. Some of the pumpkin spices kick in mid-palate with cinnamon sweetness and clove. sweet finish with more spice linger, flavors of cola
M- medium body with low carbonation leads to a slightly foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish
O- I wasn't sure about the concept of a pumpkin shandy, it was actually better than expected but not something I'd go after again. A different switch up in the pumpkin ale category

From the 12 fl oz bottle with an expiration notch of March 2014. Sampled on September 19, 2013.
The color is mahogany-amber with a short-lived off-white head fizzy head. It disappears as quick as it appears. Some mild cloudiness.
The aroma had a more summer quality to it than autumn with a bouquet of lemongrass while pumpkin and cinnamon-nutmeg spices played second fiddle.
Lemon flavors tend to take over the taste as well. For an autumn brew this tastes more like a summer with a little pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon sprinkled in. Cinnamon more so.
