Jack-O Traveler is an alluring wheat beer illuminated by the tastes of fall. He strikes a perfect balance between bright refreshment and seasonal spice. Jack is brewed with fresh pumpkin, for a delicious dark-hued, Shandy-inspired beer.

Wasn't crazy about this, something about wheat and pumpkin just don't go together. The wheat makes this beer really weird and almost slimy feeling as you sip when combined with the pumpkin. Was burping up pumpkin spice flavor for hours long after I had half a bottle and not in a good way. Just wasn't for me I guess.

Outstanding pumpkin brew. Sad that it's retired.

On tap at Joe’s Crab Shack in Clifton. Pours a copper, ruddy hue with minimal frothing. Assertive aroma replete with hints of caramel and nutmeg. Similar overall flavor profile.

This goes a long with the October theme, of course this makes a great brew when the leaves are falling. A different variety to the Oktoberfests. This one has variations of sweet and bitter. This one seems to a bit sweeter than the others but still has a very refreshing palate. This one is not really deriving from any style but takes a shandy characteristic to it, which is extremely interesting.

On tap at Oak and Stone. OK, this one is silly sweet. As much like a candy apple as a pumpkin pie. Great after-taste. At one reviewer's suggestion, I mixed it with an IPA. Not sure that worked.

Draft. Reasonably fresh. Revoltingly sweet, excessive cinnamon (on the high end even amongst other pumpkin brews). More like an alcopop than a beer. Looks a good copper colour, good head retention.

Might mix OK with a dryish hoppy beer, but rating this on the basis of it representing itself as beer and not just a flavouring.
