Quite possibly one of the best light beers I've ever had, even though thats not saying much, but this was actually very good. This color is typical, but not so diluted looking, its a light, slightly cloudy pale yellow, much like a pilsner, no head or lace was evident when served. Smell is surprising for a light, slightly lemon citrus, fresh and soft, note of wheat. Taste is mellow and smooth of lemony citrus, quite light with an actual noticeable hop. Barley malts and wheat lingering lightly in the back make for a pleasant taste and the feel is, dare I say, full, pretty darn close anyway, nice light bitterness and dryness. Lesson one should be this light for all the macros out there. Drinkable for sure on the lighter fare side of things. I was amazed

Originally reviewed on October 7, 2006. On tap at the brewpub. Thin lightly hazed yellow pour. Rim of white. Light skunky waft of malt. Distant corn tinged sugars of faint malt. Carboard and coarse grain. Palate has a smack of toast and weak plants. Body isn’t bad, but why beat up an American Wheat as your entry level blonde? This comes across as a Broberon Bud Light.
