16 oz. can gifted from my Better Beer Authority mate, Richard Hartogs (insert accolades), unknown brewing/canning date but assured fresh, drank over 39 minutes out of my large bottom The Bruery "Rue the Day" tulip glass

A: 2/3 - light golden coloration, low-to-moderate clarity for style (cannot read or see through, which is likely obscured by the carbonation), initial soft eggshell white head settles into a subtle glass lacing with carb islands; tight white bubbles pouring off the bottom of the glass and settle into the lacing

A: 8/12 - mild ineffable Citra aroma - tangerine, blood orange and slight pine; some background/muted malt breadiness and alcohol; intensity of the aroma improves with warming

T: 14/20 - gentle citrus bitterness of the front of the tongue closely followed by classic Citra hop flavors - again, tangerine, tangelo and mango; some balancing American 2-row breadiness and maybe some specialty malts; low alcohol flavors; the flavor profile does not linger but this beer finishes dry and inviting

M: 4/5 - moderate body, high carbonation for style; low-to-moderate alcohol presence and some hop resins improve the chewiness; overall solid drinkability

O: 8/10 - really nice balanced "session IPA" that due to it's relatively high ABV (and attendant body) for style that I'd actually place closer to an APA; my major complaint is that the hop aroma and flavors don't live up to expectations for an aggressively Citra hopped beer; however, I definitely appreciate the opportunity (thanks, Richard) and am interested in trying more Three Brothers beers soon

TOTAL - 36/50

Big thanks top olavzisper for the hookup. Brew pours a semi transparent orange with a massive classic ipa head, looks to style. Nose is a nice citric blast tropical fruit, doesn't smell session at all smells diggity. Taste matches the nose but with more resin and less citric. Mouth is thin and watery but overall a homerun for the season ipa. Very solid offering at a reasonable abv.

The beer is light copper to orange in body, sporting a half inch of sticky, white head. Mild haziness. Aromas of citrus with dank, resinous hops. Tartness from grapefruit character with oranges and a hint of pine. Mild bitterness in the back. Smooth and easy drinking. Certainly one of the better IPAs to emerge from the DC/VA/MD area. Good stuff.
