From a limited batch. Crooked Letter Humpback Homebrew competition winner. Poured from a growler into a Perfect pint glass.
A: Pitch black. A mocha one finger head that lingers. Great lacing.
S: Smoked wood, chocolate malts, licorice.
T: The smoked malts really shine through. Smooth, fluffy, solid. Robust. Like drinking a less ferocious Guinness. Licorice and anise. Semi-sweet chocolate.
M: Medium with medium, frothy carbonation.
O: Very smooth and sessionable. Hope they make more of this one. A great addition to the CL stable.
