Pours golden. Head disappears fairly quickly; leaves good lacing.

Smell: Fruity but not like an IPA; very distinctive

Taste: Fruit, spices, something else. Again, very distinctive.

Feel: Very smooth. I could guzzle this repeatedly, but that would ruin the enjoyment of this very tasty brew.

Fantastic beer. Could enjoy this every day. Taste does not exactly remind me of anything else I've had but takehome message is that this is what lager can taste like when it's done right, with none of the adjuncts and crap you get from mass-producers. In a craft-beer experience dominated by ales, this beer is a standout and will be a regular resident in my kegerator.

Appearance: Golden/Amber smell: butterscotch, lemons, very distinct butterscotch smell though Taste: butterscotch, lemons, just the right amount of tartness (if I could imagine what a butter beer from Harry potter would taste like this is it!!) Mouthfeel:medium bodied, very very smooth, no burn from the 7.0 abv overall: this is hands down my favorite beer to date, I'd give it an A+

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of grains, some lemons. Taste is lemons, malts, some tartness, hops are present. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

Stabello Maniscalco has a thick, bone-white head, an initially clear, amber appearance, which heavily clouds, when the caked sediment is swished loose and poured in, some ascending bubbles, and moderate lacing strips left behind. The aroma is of honey, lemon, and rich yeasty, sourdough bread. Taste is similar, with noticeable, but in no way, harsh, hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Stabello finishes semi-dry and easy going.

Look: The box and label are very colorful. The imagery is Michael Pukac. It is similar to styling on Crooked Letter's Gypsy IPA. Pours yellow/golden.

Smell: Smell is reminiscent of Belgium style, spiced beers. Normally, I do not like them, but this one is an exception.

Taste: Exceptional. I would not believe it is "high gravity" unless the ABV was printed on the label. Frankly, it is the best Lager I have ever tasted. I like this beer a lot.

Feel: Smooth to drink, not a lot of foam or carbonation to slow consumption.

Overall and excellent beer. I was surprised. I would not hesitate to buy it again, even if it goes for $10+ a six pack. Frankly, that is cheap compared to Tripel Karmeliet and some other Trappist beers.

Pours a pale orange with a slight white head.

Smells of orange, malt, no sour yest.

Taste up front is orange and some slight bread you malt backed by a sour yeast note reminiscent of a Belgian. This is a very easy drinking beer for the abv with some good flavors going on.

A: Pours a hazy golden with a large foamy whitish head that fades relatively slowly, lots of carbonation on this one.

S: Up front bread and biscuit, some spice, followed by some lemon and citrus, touches of pine and grass.

T: A bit different than the nose, with way more fruitiness than I expected. I get some orange and grapefruit citric tones and some grass and spice as well, hence the "hopped up lager" classification.

M: Medium bodied, crisp and refreshing, with fairly high carbonation.

O: This is quite interesting to me, not quite a hoppy lager like the IPLs, but way more than a standard pilsner. Different, and I like it. Absolutely worth trying!
