Pours golden. Head disappears fairly quickly; leaves good lacing.
Smell: Fruity but not like an IPA; very distinctive
Taste: Fruit, spices, something else. Again, very distinctive.
Feel: Very smooth. I could guzzle this repeatedly, but that would ruin the enjoyment of this very tasty brew.
Fantastic beer. Could enjoy this every day. Taste does not exactly remind me of anything else I've had but takehome message is that this is what lager can taste like when it's done right, with none of the adjuncts and crap you get from mass-producers. In a craft-beer experience dominated by ales, this beer is a standout and will be a regular resident in my kegerator.

A: Pours a hazy golden with a large foamy whitish head that fades relatively slowly, lots of carbonation on this one.
S: Up front bread and biscuit, some spice, followed by some lemon and citrus, touches of pine and grass.
T: A bit different than the nose, with way more fruitiness than I expected. I get some orange and grapefruit citric tones and some grass and spice as well, hence the "hopped up lager" classification.
M: Medium bodied, crisp and refreshing, with fairly high carbonation.
O: This is quite interesting to me, not quite a hoppy lager like the IPLs, but way more than a standard pilsner. Different, and I like it. Absolutely worth trying!

A: Clear, gold/amber in color with a white half-finger head that lingered. Decent lacing.
S: Picking up light hops and a bit of citrus.
T: Tangy, citrus-y. Smooth and sweet. Slight hop bite on the finish. Very sessionable.
M: Light to medium with medium carbonation.
O: A very pleasant lager with hop appeal. Love the artwork of the Stabello troll and the whole legend behind the beer. Crooked Letter is really starting to make a great impression on the pallettes of craft beer lovers in Mississippi.
