Mango Tango Foxtrot is a juicy IPA with notes of guava and ripe mangos. You will be happy to know that no mangos perished while making this beer. The tropical notes are derived from Australian hop varieties used in this beer coupled with our house ale yeast strain. Mango Tango Foxtrot is dedicated to everyone out there who is not afraid to hop out of the box and try something new. Before you know it you’ll be calling hop bombs all day long! Hops including Citra, Galaxy, Amarillo, to give it a citrusy mango-like flavor.

16 ounce can into tulip class, canned on 4/21/22. Over carbonation pour. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Dense soapy lacing and a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, passion fruit, berries, citrus peel/rind, citrus oil, cedar, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toast, herbal, floral, grass. Large sized pine, citrus rind, herbal, woody, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Long resinous lingering drying finish. Mild astringency and warmth of 5.7%. Great all around west coast style feel with Citra, Galaxy, Amarillo. Very vibrant, dank, and earthy hops with a balanced malt backbone. Doesn't feel as juicy as I expected, much more aggressive on pine/earthy notes. Minimal complaints.

16 ounce can in a tulip IPA glass. Canned on 3/8/2022.
Copper orange color with a near 2F linen colored cap. The cap endures as a foam and leaves lots of sticky lacing.
Aromas are mild; guava, lime, malt.
Mango appears in the flavors along with the guava. The mentioned yeast stain erases any sweetness from the malt.
Dry medium body. Some hop bitterness. Juice isn’t registering.
IBUs are high, abv is a modest 5.7%. The combo works well.

Decent American IPA. Standard mouthfeel and taste, meets the resiquites for the style. Expected more Mango...any in fact. Solid Meh, wouldn't seek it out, wouldn't turn one down either.

Mango Tango Foxtrot – India Pale Ale – Deep River Brewing Company, Clayton, NC
I cannot lie; this is my second pack of these guys. I flew through the first four-pack and had to go back for another one before I was able to get around to writing about the Mango Tango Foxtrot. This is a very local IPA, I’ve seen it a lot, but never got around to trying one until now. This beer is 5.7% alcohol with 70ish IBUs and a SRM of 5.4 which is perfect in my opinion for an IPA. The palate of the MTF has notes of Guava and Mango, but these are natural flavors credited to Australians hop varieties. That’s as specific as I can find on this one as far as hop strain goes. This might be the best NC Beer that I’ve ever had, excluding Wicked Weed brews. Two thumbs up from me! I will give this one a 8.3 out of 10.0, and Beer Advocate gives this one an 7.7, which is lower. I would contribute the low BA score to the lower alcohol percentage of this beer. Highly recommend.

I'm drinking this at The Deep River Brewery.
Freshly tapped poured into a pint glass.
Appears a slightly hazy orange color, with a beautiful foamy white head and lacing that dropped quickly.
Smells tropical, citrusy, slightly malt.
Taste follows the nose, citrusy, vanilla, slightky malty.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall, I would definitely order on tap again.
