Gave Ralph's another try today because their selection truly is extensive. Unfortunately I quickly realized the reason the selection is so vast is because it's the same stuff that was there the last time...and the time before that. I literally couldn't find an IPA bottled or canned within 3 months of today's date. My other issue is the customer service...every time I've been in there the owner couldn't be bothered. There was a case of Lunch in plain view behind the counter one day and I asked if it just came in and the answer was "those are spoken for". I've had several friends with similar experiences. It is disappointing because I live a mile away and was excited to have that kind of selection nearby. I'm not asking for super-fresh, bottled-that-week beer. Just a Dogfishhead 60 Min that is a little newer than being bottled before the baseball season started (it's October).

"Ralph's Wine and Spirits" does not do justice to the beer supply found within the walls of this store. The back wall and surrounding aisles are covered with beers from every micro and nano brewery that distribute to Mass If by some chance they are out of a given beer, the workers are happy to take note of what the requests are and notify you personally when their new shipment comes in.
When I first visited the store, the owner and namesake greeted me himself. We began talking of bourbon/scotch selections and recommendations, and after sampling some of his private small barrel stock we moved on to talk beer. While the selection was truly impressive, equally so was his knowledge of everything that he carried. Whilst talking he was communicating with his distributor to see if brands not yet on his radar could be made available and if so, when. I've never experienced customer service like this, and have rarely come across a selection as vast. I don't really see the point in trying other liquor stores within a 30 mile radius, Ralph's has something for everyone

Have been going to Ralph's on a regular basis since moving to Hingham from Boston last year... and it surely has lived up to expectations. Ralph & Ben are both great guys to work/talk with, and always seem to enjoy watching what their customers purchase.

This place is great, the best part about it is they have all craft COLD. It's not like most stores when you want something decent but have to stick it in the freezer when u get home. They have about 15 fridge doors, I think 8 are dedicated to craft. Awesome selection of founders and allagash. I was able to snag a bottle of parabola here. The 12pk pricing are some of the best I've seen. The store itself is so cool.

I recently visited Ralph's for the first time and was instantly impressed with both the selection and the atmosphere. Several of my favorite beers and brewers. The customer service was great and the store is clean as can be. On my second visit i became a customer for life.

This is the old Ralph's Derby Street Wines & Spirits store in a new and much larger location. I stopped in this past weekend and all I can say is Wow. I was always impressed with the old location but this new store is amazing. They now have 12 beer refrigerator doors with 7 totally dedicated to craft beers. In addition they offer over 100 selections of 22's. I was able to snag a Brooklyn Black Ops and noticed a very good selection of Cambridge Brewing Company bombers.
They seem to have all the hard to find beers as I noticed Maine Brewing Lunch and Ithaca Flower Power. The selection of Founders Brewery is particularly extensive along with those from Stone, Firestone Walker, Lagunitas and Left Hand to name a few more. The import selection is also quite impressive.
The owner Ralph and manager Ben are both not only into craft beer but are very friendly and enthusiastic. They told me they hold craft beer tastings every Friday from 5-7 p.m.
To sum up my first impression of this store..It is a hop head's dream
