Firstly, as the first BA review noted, the frontage/signage of In`Finiti is very low-key. I had been out for a run, where I figured I would see it, but never did. Later that day, while walking, I asked a local, who had to point it out to me....I had run right past it w/o any idea.

Anyways, upon entering, you will see some nice looking equipment. And then you will see the long bar and a good amount of tables too. So, they have craft beer and "artisinal cocktails" as well. I believe that their house liquors are not yet available. But, some of their house beers are available. While there, I tried both the IPA and DIPA. Both of them were pretty tasty. From what I recall, there was a total of 5-6 house beers on. And they also have a similar amount of beers on from other brewers, with a focus on Maine, i.e. Marshall Wharf, Oxbow.

The food looked very good, but I did not try any. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of good beer as well as making a mean cocktail. And although it was a bit difficult to find, for the first time anyhow, these folks were doing a good business. The good people of Portland, ME, really enjoy their drinking and dining out. But with places like this, I can`t really blame them. I would be interested to see what other styles or tweaks they may do on their house beers down the road. (1,325 characters)

This is an interesting place in the middle of downtown Portland with many great places with a few block. Def worth a stop in. Beers are OK, some good and some bad, some experiments and some I feel weren't what they should have been. The beer selection was nice, all their own, but quite a few of them. (although they do have a few cans and bottles from other places).

You can see the whole brewery and bottling/barreling area, as well as the distillery in there. The bar area was a little dark but decent looking, pretty clean, the patio was really nice overlooking the harbor. Waiter was a little iffy as he forgot things multiple times and was very slow at getting drinks or coming back to our table after we said we needed another second on a beer selection.

It's def a neat place to checkout and grab a beer or two, but def don't plan to spend the afternoon there when there are so many great places nearby. (915 characters)

Steampunk/Industrial chic in downtown Portland Maine- welcoming staff. Great beer selection. I had a beer flight and normally I am an IPA woman but I loved their stout- full bodied smooth no bitter notes. Will definitely return! (228 characters)

This is an excellent bar and is a great representation of the Portland beer scene. They have a ton of different styles on tap and the food is also quite good. I went in around Christmas time last year and did a tasting of their Azacca IPA, Burton IPA, Rauchbier, Small Baltic Porter, Obscurity Imperial Stout, and the Barrel Aged Quad. Out of them all, my favorite was the Azacca though I really enjoyed everything. (418 characters)

I like where they are going here. The collab with dogfish (oyster stout) was really nice although we had to try it at Novare. Would like to come back when their barrel aged spirits are flowing. The mainline beers were a little disappointing to us. (247 characters)

Visited while in Portland during Sierra Nevada's Beer Camp and this place was a nice stop. A nice brewery/distillery which is visible behind the bar. A lot of restaurant setting inside and a nice deck out back overlooking the water. Just a quick stop by definitely recommended, I wish I had more time to try a few of their beers. I had the chance to try their Sour Brown ale which was definitely what I needed to wake up my pallet. I would definitely recommend checking this place out and I definitely will next time I am in Portland. Cheers! (542 characters)
