Firstly, as the first BA review noted, the frontage/signage of In`Finiti is very low-key. I had been out for a run, where I figured I would see it, but never did. Later that day, while walking, I asked a local, who had to point it out to me....I had run right past it w/o any idea.
Anyways, upon entering, you will see some nice looking equipment. And then you will see the long bar and a good amount of tables too. So, they have craft beer and "artisinal cocktails" as well. I believe that their house liquors are not yet available. But, some of their house beers are available. While there, I tried both the IPA and DIPA. Both of them were pretty tasty. From what I recall, there was a total of 5-6 house beers on. And they also have a similar amount of beers on from other brewers, with a focus on Maine, i.e. Marshall Wharf, Oxbow.
The food looked very good, but I did not try any. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of good beer as well as making a mean cocktail. And although it was a bit difficult to find, for the first time anyhow, these folks were doing a good business. The good people of Portland, ME, really enjoy their drinking and dining out. But with places like this, I can`t really blame them. I would be interested to see what other styles or tweaks they may do on their house beers down the road.

Walk into Infinity and your eyes are immediately directed to the brew room which the bar and the interior of the place is positioned in front of. A large projected screen tv was playing the world cup game and the bartender was making incredibly fancy cocktails. I had a few samples of different beer Infinity's beer before selecting what was called the "World Cup IPA." The IPA was good and the atmosphere of the place was unique and a nice addition to the portland scene. I did think the beer was a little pricey since Infinity brewed the beer themselves but other then that the place was great. I didn't have anything to eat but I did like the layout of the open kitchen.
