Thank you, Brian.

A hazy murky, gushing reddish brown with a dense brown head with decent retention, this looks solid. The nose is great too. Very woody and oaky but softly so, more a pinot noir vinous character than the intense Cabernet sauvignon that Michael has. Funky, earthy mushroomy, dusty. The palate is similar. Funkier than most Flemish reds, this is earthy and dusty, yummy. Moderately fruity with a blend of grapes, a little bit of berry character. Medium like light in body with moderate carbonation, this beer is yummy and complex. Not particularly Brett heavy at this point.

A - Gusher! A dark fizzy tan head sits on a hazy dark caramel body.

S - Funky, oaky with a faint hint of red wine.

T - Oaky, slight funk, redwine - but very soft.

D - Tons of carbonation with a light body.

O - More oak then red wine, funk, but light.

Bottle pour at Woodshop 8 held at The Hermosillo in Los Angeles, CA.

Pours a murky orange-brown with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour and tart with malt, fruit, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with sour and tart fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that has a slightly better sour aspect in the aroma in my opinion.

A: Deep beautiful red, mostly transparent. Small head dissipated very quickly leaving nothing.

S: Very sweet, bright cherry and wine notes. Not overly intense at all.

T: Starts off with a juicy fruity punch very quickly evened out by a slight bitterness. A mellow but definitely present mouth puckering tartness rounds it all off. Really great balance between fruit, acidity and bitterness

M: Low carbonation, medium bodied and super easy to drink

O: Excellent beer thats reminiscent of a flanders red ale . It clearly shares a similar sourness with some of De Garde's other beers which is great to see because its a sourness that I truly enjoy.
