Thanks... er no thanks to rudzud for sharing.

Light fizzy almost no head, but no eruption which is nice, hazy murky bright lemony yellow color.

Nose weird, musty dank spices, some peach apricot notes, little weird baking holiday spices but not sure what, little lemon note, touch grassy grainy malt.

Taste funk, yeasty, some farmhouse, cardamom and nutmeg like baking spices, weird tart lemony flavor, grassy, quite yeasty, syrupy sticky flemmy, bitter rind flavor, finish is weird, bitter lemon rind, lemon funk, yeasty, little funk.

Mouth is med bod, light carb, little flemmy and lactic like.

Overall bleh.

Pour is a cloudy dark amber with a tight white head. Hint of wood up front, faint note of cheese, and a fair bit of malty grapy sweetness. Taste is the same, this one is a slightly more oaky version of the desay 1, this is a bit cheesier with the same sweet grapy flavor. Body is medium with an assertive carbonation and a slightly dry finish.

Thanks to mrbubbler for sharing this one at Wowcoolman's tasting.

Pours a hazy orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is sour with malt, grain, fruit, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour grain, fruit, and funk flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

I don't get how the Desays are rated so low. Blend 2 is absolutely a top 5 saison for me, alongside Arthur, Brother Soigne, Anna, and Little Lobster on the Prairie.

Served from a chilled 750 mL bottle into a Teku glass. Pours golden, on par for course here. A small, spritzy white head forms via a fairly moderate pour and is retained for some time. Aroma is complex - oak, funk, wild, tropical, it's sort of all over the map but with a common thread to tie it together that, after a few De Garde beers, I can safely call their house yeast/character. The taste is similar - tons of complexity and funk, mild acidity, citrus, and and extreme drinkability that is incredible given the aforementioned characteristics. Great carbonation yields a light borderline prickly mouthfeel.

Overall, this is a world-class saison that is at once complex, refreshing, funky, drinkable, and a true testament to De Garde's brewing ability.

Split with JLindros and Threelions.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy golden hue with a super thin head that faded to leave light wisps, no real head.

S - Aromas of earthy funk, barrel, funk, horse blanket, faint burnt rubber note which grows more as time passes.

T - Taste is funk, horse blanket, barrel wine notes, I get some odd flavours though, weird earthy dirty note.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, not bad lightly thin.

O - Overall this beer was a mixed bag, nice flavors but something else going on here. Don't dig the off lavours.
